Good morning, good afternoon, or good evening, depending on when you are tuning in. My name is Jonathan Torres Herrera and you are watching or listening to The JTH Show today. Let’s talk about the return of CaptainAmerica allegedly BruceWillis is called out for no Masking and the Police tend to hate more allegedly on the left but at first roll the intro.
0 (35s):
All right. Welcome and back to the show, it is nice to finally feel like we’re getting some traction on here. And when I say we, of course, I’m doing these now regularly with our co-host here, Josh.
1 (51s):
Hello. Nice to be back. It is,
0 (53s):
It is very nice to be back. So first make sure that we remind everybody, then you guys can listen to any of our episodes on Spotify, Apple podcasts, Google podcasts, or radio public. And on top of that, Please, if you can take a moment to just hit that like button, it helps us Show so much, you have no idea if you’re watching of course, on YouTube. And for that matter, let me remind some of you guys that you’ve, you can go to the link tree down below in the description on YouTube. You can find all of our platforms that were being hosted on, including all of our podcasts. So if you don’t want to type anything up, go to that link tree and it’ll open up pretty much everywhere where we exist on the web. Okay. Let’s jump into the first story. And that is a one that I had a lot of nerds and excited, and that includes Me and that is the possible return.
0 (1m 42s):
CaptainAmerica more importantly Chris Evans CaptainAmerica right? Cause it can always be that they say CaptainAmerica and it’s somebody completely new, you know, taken on the road, but none, no, no. According to an article on screen rant, there is some serious talks that it’s happening with Marvel and Chris Evans for him to raise his famous row as iconic row as Steve Rogers, AKA CaptainAmerica. Now I should add on here that there is a allegedly a tweet that is coming from Chris Evans himself with a little emoji. I’m like news to me, which, you know, I was a talking to a Josh here right before the show started in, you know, to me, by the way, it always feels like a lot of these, you know, big entertainment companies and even in government, they’ll throw things out there, right.
0 (2m 32s):
To the web, you know, and just to see kind of like how the sticks against the wall, see what reaction there is, which we have a, a theory as well over probably how not. Well, you know, so to speak the idea of the Falcon taken on the mantle right. Of, of CaptainAmerica. But anyways, as far as the article, before we get into that theory is to this. As of yet, it is unclear what the MCU project Evans CaptainAmerica could be returning for, but it could be either a movie or a TV show since Marvel studios is branching out into the realm of television with the premier of one division tomorrow.
0 (3m 15s):
I mean, tomorrow, Friday, because we were filming this on Thursday. Now the idea here of course, is that it has to be something with the multi-verse as the article. So States ’cause the CaptainAmerica that we saw last was a old retired CaptainAmerica right. Hoo you know, very famously or infamously for some geeks out there were, you know, he here and he hands over the, the shield to the Falcon. You know, I say infamously, because I remember reading so much over how many people were upset because you know, why didn’t he give it to Bucky instead of fall camp, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
0 (3m 57s):
So what could it be? Could it be that now there really going to go into this whole multi-verse possibly, I mean, we are seeing what’s happening through some of the clips and some of the previews are showing us with Wanda vision in how maybe she is in his type of universe yourself, you know, when she’s like jumping through all these different areas. So it could be that we’re seeing, we’re going to see rather a Chris Evans that is also somewhere among those universe. So, you know, that could be it, or it could be what I originally have always said about, you know, cash cows, right. That some of these entertainment companies, including actors are like, man, yeah, I’m going to, I’m going to totally say goodbye to these characters.
0 (4m 43s):
I don’t ever want to come back to them. I’m done with them. You know, Kristen bell has side of that with his Batman. We have had an Our Robert Downey, Jr. I say that with his iron man, and now we have Chris Evans with captain America. And what do we see? Well, funny enough, just like this article also mentioned, we have had people like Michael Keaton, who was like, Oh, I was Batman once and I’m done being Batman, right? Toby Maguire. I’m dumb being, you know, the Spiderman and in this same article says by the way, everybody should be aware that everybody I just mentioned will be coming back to replace our roles. Why? Because pockets dry up judging. But that’s what it is.
0 (5m 24s):
The pockets dry up. And they’re like, Oh, you know what? To leave this. I don’t know, like this character and in this, you know, I, I don’t know. Gloria’s, you know, image now that everybody has over, over this character again, a little bit like CaptainAmerica in Ironman have, but in a couple of years, maybe even a decade to be fair, just like Michael Keyon, he realizes, Oh shit, there’s so many more kids that don’t know who the hell I am. I’m still alive in those pockets are gained dry. I used to read, you liked that Batman of money. And now my uncle Keen’s like, yeah, no, I’ll totally do it again. And that, in my opinion, that’s, what’s going to happen with Ironman. That’s what’s going to happen. And it’s happening probably here with the CaptainAmerica ride with Chris Evans even though he has that whole like news to me, emoji tweet, they liked the, the, the, the, the, the money.
0 (6m 15s):
I don’t think it’s so much that they love the craft. Maybe they do. I don’t know that they so much do it for the fans. Maybe they do. I mean, we live in different worlds. Sometimes our audience in myself and my head. I think it’s mainly about that chicken.
2 (6m 33s):
Right? Of course it is. I mean, yeah. I mean, I think about it like this, I th I like to think of those kinds of movies is like, I’m not a massive fan, but you have to enjoy them for what they are. You don’t go to see these movies. Cause it’s the lobster, you know what I mean? It’s not the lobster in champagne movie. It’s more like, it’s like the McDonald’s movie. You have to enjoy it for what it is. You don’t go to McDonald’s expecting lobster. You know what I mean? Yeah. So you just have to enjoy it. You know, sometimes a bit of junk food is fine. It’s fine. You know, we will enjoy it. I mean, I’m not, I’m not sporting that you all go out and buy at McDonald’s if you aren’t, but you just have to don’t don’t think don’t, don’t make it like, this is, this is an art movie, you know, this is something, this is something with real artistic credits.
2 (7m 18s):
It’s the mood. It’s like, you know, one of the movies that you just watch.
0 (7m 21s):
Yeah. You know what, actually, you remind me a little bit about, there’s a director, there’s this director a very famous and I feel bad for not remembering his name. More importantly is what he said, which goes along with what you were saying, which, you know, he, he set up the Marvel movies. He’s a guy, the director, the gangs of New York and stuff like that. He worked a lot where the, the corporal, he said, you know, they’re, they’re a lot, like he described them a little bit, kind of like you just described the, the, the, the Marvin ways. Right. They’re like the, they’re not like this artistic crazy, like the Lincoln movie. Right. It’s more like, it’s an act.
2 (7m 56s):
I think it’s Martin Scorsese. Right.
0 (7m 58s):
The guy Mark. And thank you. Yeah. I used to, do you see that? Did he say that comment?
2 (8m 2s):
Yeah, I think I did. Yeah. That was at some point maybe like a year or two years ago, right? Correct.
0 (8m 7s):
Yup. Yup. Yup. And no robbery, even Robert Downey Jr. That we’re trying to, in my opinion, kind of pin him because they asked him in an interview. So what do you think about what Scorsese you said? You know, and he’s like, I mean, whatever, he has his opinions over to the movies, it didn’t work by the way, you know, that it didn’t work to pin the, you know, the, the, what you were some of my call, legendary director with, you know, Robert Downey and, you know, Robert and his opinion was the same, whatever, you know, that’s his opinion. I don’t agree. But you know, he could have his opinion for the Marvel movies. And to be fair, your, your kinda from what I’ve also seen online, popular belief. Yes. These Marvel movies are awesome. Yes. We are many people that grew up reading these comic books who are actually just grew up watching some of the cartoons that now are seen on the big screen.
0 (8m 49s):
It is fun. It is nostalgic. It’s like, Oh my God. But is it like you just mentioned is like some type of like Oscar winning film, you know, is there like a roots when people don’t know what the hell is his roots? It’s a movie, go watch it. You should six hours or something like that. But it’s, it’s, it’s a movie. It’s not, you know, it’s not, I don’t forever. I don’t think or see ever foresee, you know, hearing at the, at the, whatever at the, at the, what did that, the Grammys in the Grammys, the awards, whatever from movies, right? What did they call them? Sorry, the, the Oscars, I don’t ever see a Marvin moving, winning one eight could, but even black Panther, which was, you know, you know, at least the critique in a positive way for being such a ma went to one of the biggest movies in Marvel.
0 (9m 37s):
I mean, it wasn’t nominated for an Oscar. I know, you know, and it’s not going to, because of your right, the movie, you have to take them for what they are. And these guys coming back to these cash cow, cows is nothing more than a guy that says, I like the marble more of the money because there’s a whole bunch of fans and nerds. I will go watch these movies and kids. And I like the toy money. I liked it. You know what I’m saying?
2 (9m 57s):
Yeah. Yeah. It’s not, it’s not just about the movie. It’s about the whole franchise. Right. You know, like you said, it’s like, it’s not just about, you know, I don’t, I don’t think anyone really, I don’t know. I could be wrong. Like maybe Robert Downey Jr. And emotionally invests a lot in these movies or his projects. I don’t know how he works, but
0 (10m 16s):
Possibly, I mean, they’re big, I’ll leave it at this. The movies might be very, very big for me, you know, very, very specific groups. Again, those that are, are, are, you know, like super fans. And of course the actors who are maybe very devoted. Right. But the way some of these, you know, news media tries to put out like, its like the news of the eye of the century, like Chris, Evans comes back to be CaptainAmerica Ooh shit. You know, I go, wow, what a slow news day. Right? Yeah. And it’s funny outside of note, speaking of no news, slow news days, my wife earlier, we were out to get the mail and she gets like a, a breaking news alert on her phone.
0 (11m 3s):
You know, we, you know, we both have different apps and w the news was that some person who I have no idea who she is, I don’t think many people will. I bet almost like I almost bet money right now that you want either a girl, a lady, I’m sorry. I should say from a reality TV show, I think that was like the Housewives, like or something like that. Right. Had a divorce. It was someone, it was someone from a reality show because I know Monica, Monica, my wife mentioned it and she’s like, the, how is this breaking news? I’m going to know this. This say, that’s how slow sometimes. And you, as you know, but anyways, anyways, all right. And for that, let’s move on to the next story.
0 (11m 45s):
And that is a little bit more serious, but still actually to do with entertainment very briefly. You want to talk about it because this is going to solidify what we’ve been kind of critiquing celebrities and influencers, and really privileged people right now in the entertainment world, on social media that it’s like, I don’t have to do things that you have to do that you commenters, you have to do. And for that, we have to look at Bruce Willis of all people. I think some diehard and a friend I’m going to get mad at me. Ah <inaudible> no, no, no worries. Okay. That cause BruceWillis the diehard. A lot of people are like 13 are in their language.
3 (12m 23s):
Yeah. What do you mean? So BruceWillis right.
0 (12m 25s):
They’re mostly known for his movies. I can die hard is according to this article here, excuse me. By the BBC and his tweet here is spotted at a store. And allegedly he himself even admitted to having an error of judgment. Right? So the The article here reads the diehard actor 65 was pictured entering and leaving in California pharmacy without face covering on Monday. Now he was probably asked, right? Cause some of you guys might know, California is one of those few places in the world that is a major hotspot, at least in the United States. Right. And at this point has had what, 2 million, right.
0 (13m 9s):
Something like that, you know, cases. And of course you have people that are, you know, I don’t know that they don’t believe in COVID or they don’t believe in face masks. They think that they’re, you know, oppressing their writer, pressing them and appears that maybe BruceWillis is one of them now to be fair Willis was spotted, wearing some type of like, I don’t know that. What do you want? We want to go to the choir. Do you call those things?
3 (13m 36s):
It kinda looks like a, like a mid, like a military kind of desert scarf or something like that.
0 (13m 41s):
Okay. Brian, which some people have even gone as far as doing this and be like, this is my mask. And wow. The theory that they have is technically not wrong. They’re still wearing something over their face,
3 (13m 55s):
But the thought was there. Yeah,
0 (13m 57s):
Sure. The April, but you know, it’s, it’s not a face covering. Now. The reason, by the way, I have heard that many company and not companies, but businesses rather establishments have the not access to people doing that is because of forget or they’ll just drop it. Oh, you know, it’s almost, you know, instinct to, to want to uncover your face when you are not being heard. You know? So as they are doing this, there are notes is on, you know, completely what’s to be fair to some people with Ms to that, she, I don’t know how, but you know, they shouldn’t be in the face mask, allows you one to use your hands. Right. And to, to not have that again, that instinct to want to uncover. I actually went, I always had this little side notes, but the side story, I went to get takeout of a few, about a week.
0 (14m 45s):
Of course, we actually, at this point we are going to go get a Texas Roadhouse. And I was literally standing, waiting for my food. And there is another guy doing the same winning for his food. But he was doing this with the whole shirt. I don’t have her shirt right now, but he had his shirt over. Right. The lady comes over, but he’s like covering himself. The lady comes over to give them the food. Right. It’s two bags. What does he do? Actually, exactly what I just mentioned. He’s like, you had a shirt he’s looking at me and you know, and I’m like all this fucking guy and in my head, I’m like, he’s in a diaper shirt, watch the lady comes over and he’s like, thank you. Oh my God. You know? And it’s like, you know, in that moment I’m like Corona, not in this. I didn’t, I didn’t do that.
0 (15m 26s):
No, but you know, it’s, it’s, that’s why people okay. For some of you guys are saying, GTS has the same. I have heard people walk around like this, you know, like they’re freaking bane from, you know, Batman, you know, Oh, you liked the darkness, you know? No, it’s, you have to wear a face mask. You know, it’s just, it is what it is. Everybody hates it. I’ve said that over and over. BruceWillis this includes you, my friend, you know, just because you know, you are the star of diehard and whatever, anything else you’ve come out on, I’m sorry that doesn’t, I’ve been in this situation by the way. Cause it BruceWillis has watching this and he might be right. And he’s like, dude, you don’t understand.
0 (16m 7s):
I was, I forgot in the car. Been there also been there. You know, you just, you just me, how many times I’ll walk out, you know, and which you can go in. I just got the car and in everybody’s in his face max, and then I feel like on a spot and like, and everybody starts looking at you, like, where are you going? You know, they don’t say that, but they look at you, like you’re going in an area and you just freeze, like just walk right out, you know, or just to go back to your car, you know? And I don’t get it, you know, like, I’m sorry. BruceWillis no matter how much money you have in the bank cookie or face mask. Okay. Right. But anyways, that’s just a little face story for everybody. If you guys want to know, you know, and just, just more and more opportunity for me to just shit on the rich in, on the, on the powerful, but what that let’s move on to more serious stories are a more serious news rather, Josh, what do you have for us?
2 (17m 1s):
Right. Yeah. I was just looking, I was going through, you know, the news as I normally do has, it’s a part of my job in the show. And there was, I saw a interesting article in the guardian that piqued my interest. And apparently according to the guardian, while the guardian, I don’t know if you guys know, but it’s actually a more seen as a more lefty kind of newspaper in the UK. But the guardian has basically said that you S Police three times more likely to use force against left wing protestors. Interesting. Right. Cause I think we’ve heard from one particular guy last name T first name D leaving the white house in the next few days has been saying that people from the left to being very violent, right.
2 (17m 45s):
You know, people at these, these protests that have been happening since well, at least since April, 2020, since the George Floyd incident, he’s basically said that they’ve been quite violent, these people. And he says that he’s trying to justify the Police violence that has happened. So basically what, what will be seen as a left wing protest would be something along the lines of black lives matter demonstrations, but also pro Biden demonstrations. What would be seen as right-wing protest would be the pro-Trump impro Police demonstrations, right-wing protests against COVID public health restrictions, of course, as well as protests involving the infamous.
2 (18m 30s):
I believe we covered this in the show before, is QA non, is that right? Or whatever you want to call it, whatever they call themselves. And the conspiracy theory sporters as well as the stop, the steal one more recently. So that would be more of a right wing protest in this particular study that was done. So what do we know so far? It’s actually a fact that 93% of black lives matter protests that have happened since April have not actually involved any harm or any damage to property. So that is a fact, or has been reported to be a fact. I don’t want to say it’s a fact because you know, I, I wasn’t, I was not every protest, you know, so that that’s, what’s being reported, but we have to ask ourselves on never one to be on the side of Trump.
2 (19m 19s):
I think I’ve, I’ve stolen that line from you. JTH I think you said that a number of times already. And you’re thinking like, if I say Trump, so yeah. I don’t want, I’m not in the side of Trump for most things, but we have to look at where, where does this violence come from? I mean, how many times have you, JTH you tell me how many times you have you done a video where someone has done something questionable in the name of a good cause?
0 (19m 49s):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. No, absolutely tons. Yeah. It’s you know, and that, and then in the name of, of, of whatever they believe. Right, right, right. Sure. No bunch of them are a whole bunch of times. And I think it’s, it’s primarily because people have like this, you know, at least when they get very passionate over something, they have this natural instinct to be defensive over it. Right. To say, to defend their, their, their position. Right. Even when there, there is clear evidence that, you know, something didn’t go down either legally or the way it should of gone down. Right. I think it’s norm normal and no matter what side of the I around, you know, and the Patriots, which are normally identified as people in the right of the eye of the political right system that they’ll defend, you know, whatever it is they’re doing, including burning BLM manners to the people in the, on the left, right.
0 (20m 46s):
In saying, well, we also have to bring guns and I covered even a video where you had a guy, unfortunately pass away. And they, they, they shot him in the fence, you know, because he had a weapon and what happens and they know that they shot him when he got in your car, ’cause the person in the car. I think he was doing Uber or something, you know, thought he was going to shoot him. And he did this, this person I’m speaking about, right. The way you act on the left. Right. And, or at least again on the political agenda. And you know, he defended his position and, you know, unfortunately you got him killed,
2 (21m 25s):
Right. Well, yeah. I mean, to be honest, looking, looking at both sides of the coin, as we always liked to do on the JTH, Show, it’s a, both sides or any ism. I think we mentioned this in the last show as well, that any kind of ism, when anything gets to any kind of ism, socialism, extremism, communism, uhm, fascism, whatever. That’s, when stuff starts getting violent, dangerous and putting other people’s lives at risk. So it’s, it’s kind of like America right now, socially needs the political version of Ritalin right now. It just needs to calm down on both sides because both sides are at each other’s necks, whether it’s woke millennials or it’s the, or it’s the triggered boomers, you know, that they’re at each other’s throats.
2 (22m 13s):
And you know that we we’re at a we’re at a time where I think I’ve heard this before. It’s like were at a time when, the way the most politically tribal we have been ever or something like that.
0 (22m 24s):
Oh no, no, no, no it is. I need this in my lifetime. Right. That I can remember. I would say that that statement, you know, cannot be closer to the truth, you know, when it comes to feeling like right now that the vision that exists is not really because of race. I mean, there is some division of <inaudible> that they’re the visitor minus their it more so because of, of people’s political ideology. So more than anything, right. I guess it’s like this idea that there, that there are grabbing on two and a lot of the times they’re gravitated to, because either a, they want to be opposite of their baby boomers parents, right.
0 (23m 4s):
Or even older parents. Right. Whether or not that maybe not specifically baby boomers, but just to feel like their parents are old and how these I antiquated ideas or they want to be accepted by whatever social group they belong to. And that social group tends to be again on the left or the right, like always. And that’s it. They feel like if I don’t stand by what my buddies, my homies, my friends and my, you know, whatever is in supportive, I’m going to be an outsider. Right. And that goes, and I will never get tired of saying it. Right. He goes with people, completely disregarding, critical thinking, completely disregarding the simple, beautiful, and my opinion.
0 (23m 49s):
In fact, of being an individual, being unique, being your fucking self, you know, like if somebody came to me tomorrow and says, Hey, so are you Republican or Democrat? Neither. What are you the first of all of the business, but I’m Jay to you first I’m JT as right. You know, I’m where in the middle, where are you going to have to pick a side? We’re going to have to go and shoot me. Well, okay. That’s not a problem. Oh, I don’t know. Do you have in Texas, in Texas, you know, the upper right here are the areas of other guns, but yeah. I mean, it’s, it’s, it sucks, you know, and for those of you guys at ’em, I know we’re talking about, you know, it’s, it’s, it’s an article on the guardian with the U S Police three times as likely to use force against the left wing protestors.
0 (24m 31s):
They have to find. So if you look at the article yourself, you know, there’s not just coming out of, you know, our, our, our own Mount Sier, there is actually some data now to back up, you know, things like this. Even if like Josh said, the guardian tends to be more or less leaning. I mean, if there’s data to back it up and the data is not being manipulated in any way, and that is true, it does suck, you know, and I will say this and I will add this. Lastly here I’m before we wrap up that I do believe that Police, I think inherently tend to be more conservative, right? Because there are about law and order. They are about, you know, what is, you know, you know, written in law versus, you know, possibly, you know, people that are in support of the opposite, right.
0 (25m 21s):
That they are doing it to be, you know, I don’t know activists, you know, and then unfortunately some of those groups that are, are being true, activists, for whatever, whatever. Cause they do attract people that actually care nothing more right. Or are, could not care less about law and order. So they go out there and they unfortunately get together with these groups of activists. And then you do see some of these rides that go on right now. Of course you also have the media, whether you’re watching Fox news or you’re watching CNN in the United States who are going to also give you their, an interpretation of what is allegedly happening with these protests. Right.
0 (26m 1s):
Yet Fox news that obviously you did. I think I don’t have to say too much to this. It is pretty obvious. Right? You have to take my word for it. You can go watch Fox news yourself. They’re not really on the side of a BLM. Right. Or the Left for that matter. And that’s fine. That’s their, that’s their network. That’s why they work. And then same thing you can you say for CNN, right. Who typically is on the side of the Left. Right. But whenever they are right wing protests, they will put him as, Oh my God. People with guns everywhere. And you know, there’s going to be a shootout any moment, again, all things we’ve covered out, you know, over and over and you’re in the show.
0 (26m 41s):
Do you always comes down to your what it, if you could put
2 (26m 44s):
That in post.
0 (26m 45s):
Oh yeah, yeah, no. It’s yeah. I love. And he goes like the thing he visits it sometimes, but yeah.
2 (26m 53s):
That’s what it comes down to. It is just about critical thinking, because until then it’s going to be Left versus white or Left versus the right. White versus black and Trump versus reality.
0 (27m 4s):
Yeah. Well that one, I think that was that last one I think is actually pretty. I don’t know if you have to use critical thinking that way, you know that I don’t think Trump’s, this is the critical thing. You know, other thing that God, that was like the last thing you use, as you know, is it that easy to picture? So the critical thinking is at a gram. Is that a diagram, sir? Nevermind. You are going to quit on Friday anyways. Nevermind sir. Nevermind. Go back to what you were watching. Fox news. Yeah. Anyways. Yeah. I think that is that, is that a, that’s the last story, right? We have.
2 (27m 34s):
And that’s it. That’s it for today.
0 (27m 36s):
Well guys, that is, that is it for today. Thank you for watching. We appreciate you. We will be back here. Hopefully regularly leave electoral Josh, just for Josh. Don’t even leave. You don’t even do for me to do it for equality. Don’t do it for the Brown man. You do it for Josh. You know, you know, he, he needs that encouragement. Otherwise he is going to come back and I’m going to be screwed again. But yeah, that’s it for today. I hope you guys enjoy the show and until next time, see ya.
