Good morning. Good afternoon or good. You mean, depending on when you were turning in, my name is Jonathan Torres Herrera and you’re watching or listening to The JTH Show today. Lets talk about Tik TOK specifically Charli D Emilio a user by the name of D DJ mirror and a Prisoners on TikTok. Yeah, it’s going to be in a fun one, but first role the intro
1 (26s):
<inaudible>
0 (36s):
All right. As always remember, you can’t listen to any of our episodes on Spotify, Apple podcasts, Google podcasts, already a public. And if you already have a list are listening on there. Thank you very much. A really helps to Show what else also it helps us show. If you are interested is if you take two seconds who is smashed down, like buy in on any of the platforms that you might be watching and listening to. If one exists specifically on here on YouTube, really, really hard, you can not tell you how much a helps and if you don’t mind, you know, subscribing that, that would also help if you’re a new in here for the first time any of you are returning, hopefully you had that notification bell turned on. All right, let’s jump into the a story. And that is a tick tock, tick tock, tick tock.
0 (1m 16s):
Now, for those of you guys that have been here for a while, you know, for those of us that are here watching for the first time, you might know that I am not the biggest fan of TikTok Or was the biggest fan. However, ironically, I do find a lot of my content on their wife. Well, because of the, for the most part, the most part, the cesspool of just what that you can see honestly, find on there, right? Are there are a good videos? So yes they are. The some of them are that are going to be educational or informative. Great. But they’ll a vast majority of them are things that you want to close the application and then just wash your eyes out with like chlorine is crazy.
0 (1m 58s):
Some of the shit that you see on there, right? And one of the things that recently happened, you know, which we’ll start with his Charli D Emilio, which if you don’t know, she is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, I should say curators on the platform, right? Since the star, since she started about a year ago, she quickly Rose to two, 1 million followers. And recently she was on the, on the kind of say on the, on the chopping block, if you might say of, of being canceled by, by many of her subscribers, because she did what you saw there at the beginning of the clip where she is, is acting like a 16 year old, right? Who has, you know, risen to this level of influence that she doesn’t know really what to do with it.
0 (2m 42s):
It’s just numbers to her. Quite frankly, if anybody can actually picture 100 million faces, I will be, I would say it would be damn near impossible. I’m not justifying her behavior. Right? You should see the whole, a video actually on YouTube, still on our last I checked and it was a, around, a little serious that they have on their own, I guess, a familial family channel, where are they having? You know, at least the series, if that continues, it we’ll be about them having like dinner with like, you know, a random guests and you know, they, they think of themselves in some ways, which I see also why people got pissed off so big that they’re like, Oh, wonder who is going to be on the show?
0 (3m 25s):
Is it going to be like, I dunno, like they mentioned David Chapelle and some other people so that people are like, Oh, you know that we’re hearing them. We’re like, what I mean? Yeah, sure. You know, Charli you have like a a hundred million subscribers and your sister has half of them or something. But come on, you know, you guys want to get people that have been in industry for, for decades. I don’t think so. But they still got someone like a, a J Jim Charles, right. Who is a vlogger that, you know, turn a tech talker who is very famous because of like his makeup and they have here and there is some controversies on some, some, you know, drama with the other creators. And you know, she kinda, I would say created in some fashion indirectly.
0 (4m 9s):
I don’t think literally, I don’t think he meant to do it to controversy. Right. That she was in. And that is when he said, Oh, you don’t think, you know, the 90 something million that she already has was enough when she’s like, Oh, I really want to go to 100 million followers. You know, what are we really cool made by the end of the year?
2 (4m 28s):
Wait, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. If we’re thinking about it. Okay. How far away is that? A Friday. Okay. I wish, I wish I had like more time. Cause imagine if I hit a hundred mil a year after getting milk was in the 95 is not enough for you. Well, I was just like saying like even number,
0 (4m 49s):
It was kinda like upset and wishing she had more time, you know? Cause she wanted to do from 1 million to 100 million the same year she got the first record. And again Charles is kind of like, you know, shit, like you don’t think that in 96 million was enough, you know? So yeah. Some people took it like, yeah, you listen to James, you know, and how you know, how dare you, you know, and immature, which again, I want to remind people she’s 16 years old and no, that does not exempt her from being criticized. Which many people, many, many people went after. She was even trending, I believe last week. Trisha Paytas where she responded too.
0 (5m 32s):
To some of the comments that, you know, Charli was putting up and critiqued her. Cause everybody was talking to you.
3 (5m 38s):
So since they are role models in such a big platform, they should be called out when they need to be humbled a little because you see this happen all the time. People get really famous. A lot of followers really quickly. They think they are entitled to a, a a hundred mil and they complain that they only have 95 million followers. They complain that they have a personal chef and it’s just unbecoming.
0 (5m 54s):
Right. And then people went after Trisha she was training because really you’re at 30 and you’re going after a 16 year old. Let me tell you something for those of you guys that were saying that, just use your critical thinking. Alright. The world is a shitty place. That is nasty is something that is just every body knows that is a mature or at least right. The internet is part of that world. And when you put yourself out there, you know, in the world, even if it’s through the internet, understand that you There is very hard for you to just filter whatever comments critiques you feel that you may deserve or can take or can tolerate whatever term you want to use based on a rating that you want a pipe.
0 (6m 38s):
And then you have to be like, Oh, its based on age. That’s not how it works. If you decide to put yourself out there. And for that matter of your parents, like in this case, the millennial parents decide to allow their, their children to put themselves out there to the extent that they have understand that the world is going to say some nasty shit back at you, including what recently she was on a different video crying about saying literally by the way, crying, I’m not making fun of her. She was literally crying.
4 (7m 4s):
Honestly like seeing, sorry, the seeing how people reacted to this. Like I don’t even know if I want to do this anymore. Like this is messed up stuff that people are saying like that’s not okay, are you going to be on me for whatever I’ve done? But the fact that all of this is happening because of a misunderstanding. Like I just feel like that’s not okay. And I, this is a community that I’m in and the community that I put myself in. I don’t know if I want to do that anymore.
0 (7m 36s):
Say, Oh, you know people are saying, I should kill myself. I should do this. Should people say that? Of course not. It is stupid. When anyone says that at any point, even two, the most horrendous people, you know, there’s people out there that have done some pretty nasty shit. I talked about it before, right? Like the Dawson guy and the creator. I don’t remember the first one. I remember his last name is Or first name James Charli D wherever the Dawson D right. He, he was very, you know, popular. He was getting views in the millions work for his videos and all of a sudden, you know, he was counseled because of some nasty shit. He said two-way to a minor, do I think people should reach out to me?
0 (8m 19s):
Like you should carry yourself. Not of course not. I think that it is shitty of anybody to say that to someone else. Right. It is not for you to pass that level of judgment, but, but does that exist in the internet? Does that exist in the world? Of course it does people that are nasty like that. Right. And just like you can’t filter it on the real world. Like if I were to go out right now, literally I’m on the street and someone passes by in the truck or just walks by and says F you fat ass. What am I don’t excuse me. Can you, can you use language? Can you not know? Can you bleep it out? Know if my children are not, there is unfortunate.
0 (9m 2s):
It is a disgusting, I’m gonna probably going to get pissed off, but they’re going to hear it. You know, I can’t run to their ears and do this every single time. Right. That I feel someone’s about to say something or set something that I don’t like, do I agree that they should do it? No, but is it going to happen? Yes. And it’s the same thing for the internet. So when they were like telling Trisha, you should be a shame and you should be, this Trisha is someone that likes to, you know, run around and, and look for clout. Right? They are. That’s what she does. She likes, he likes to make controversy and, and, and make drama. Whether it be because of her natural personality or because she plans that out. So when people are going to have to her and then try to counsel Trisha, I was like, Jesus, Jesus.
0 (9m 48s):
Right. I will respect someone by the way, around the same age as Trisha maybe even mine. That, that Hilton dude, I think his name is Perez Hilton are something like that. He had recently come on a TikTok TikTok instead of this.
5 (10m 2s):
So why do I keep talking about James Charles, Charles Amelio Addison Rae, Bryce hall, et cetera. Duh, because they are very popular right now. Isn’t it painfully obvious I’m using them for cloud. I’m trying to get attention based off of their popularity. I want views. I want money. I want relevancy.
0 (10m 21s):
You know? So there he admitted. He is that. Yeah. I, I do this for clout. Like no shame, no shame at all. Right. And I go to say, they are some curators commentators that what they do, they like to make drama. And you know what? Your you’re a parent, a, you know, your child is all over TikTok. I mean, at this point, right? That the millennial parents that they know that they have and participate in some of her tech talks, no matter how suggestive, sometimes her dances is Our. But anyways, you know, a, it kinda comes to the territory. The argument is not whether there are people who should do it or not, it’s gonna happen. It’s unfortunate, but it’s going to happen, right? Don’t don’t let your child put herself in those situations or himself in those situations. Or you feel like people are going to be nasty to them and you want to protect them from that.
0 (11m 4s):
Right. That would be my take right in with that. Let’s hop into the next story. And that is about DJ Mer, the ha comedian was so funny. It’s Jesus. It’s one of those things where I cut her a covered that before. Plenty of times. Right? I don’t agree with the comedy that people that some creators, right. So-called proclaimed craters. Try to say that they’re doing right. That they are trying to bring happiness to people by basically sometimes bringing misery up on others, the whole, what do we mean by that? At the beginning, I showed you a little bit for me, you know, let’s, let’s roll the clips so you can give it a bit more.
1 (11m 49s):
Excuse me. Okay.
1 (12m 28s):
<inaudible>
0 (12m 43s):
All right. And in that clip, you saw there, you have the Jay mirror, right? A hu you know, Oh my God did the whole So original clip of falling with milk to the crying. And it’s like, Oh my God, I totally didn’t know it was doing that. And it was totally an accident, but here she adds yet again, more insult to injury by essentially having someone else walk over and also do the same original joke. Right? It’s it’s very insulting, degrading, so infuriating to see that other people in the store who probably don’t want to be there, that it’s their job that they need to put their family through.
0 (13m 29s):
You know, another day have to clean up all that mess. She often is seen at Walmart, right? Wherever Walmart, she goes to Or Walmarts. I don’t know if it’s many that she goes to, to do these jokes, everything from just sitting on, on random people’s cards, including associates or putting things away to, you know, hitting other people in their patrons of the store with her cart. It’s just like, Oh, and acting like I don’t, I don’t know what’s happening. You just walking away. I said this before on a, how many times. And I’m going to continue saying that because we shouldn’t Support these so-called creators. Right? For, for those of you guys watching that are very immature and you think this is hilarious.
0 (14m 10s):
I don’t think it’ll be hilarious when it happens to you, as you continue supporting this type of bullshit, a comedy humor, whatever, you know, there’s going to be a Navy, a few of you that just to win the argument with me will be like no wrong to yell with. Totally laughing would be so funny. I don’t think you would. I cause who is to say that they’re going to catch you on the day that you are going to think he is so funny and they are going to be like, Oh, you got me now. I think for many people right now, especially what, because of everything is happening and will continue to happen. A, they might catch you on a day where it, when someone brought up with you, they may catch you in a day where you’ve lost her job.
0 (14m 50s):
You might catch on a day where you got reprimanded at work, who knows what happened to you? You could just walk up and go on the wrong side of the bed. And you know, people like DJ merrier just lambs her, her, her car against you, you and you’re supposed to take it more importantly. You’re so close to let her put it on nine. And for you to be made a fool of right. Cause she needs Likes. She needs views. So sorry, whoever you are, you going to get your cart slammed into our mess to work at the store. You know, I need, I need to views. That’s what she’ll say. Because if you tell me JT, well, you know, they are things called a press releases or whatever, right. Or a video releases. I don’t think she has a team.
0 (15m 31s):
That’s doing all of that. I am so sorry. If you, again are talking of, of, of teams are, are actual legitimate TV. A reality comedy special is like a, like the, a practical jokers who all the time were, most of it is, you know, paid actors and the other, maybe half are people that are immediately, they run to their own, Hey, please, don’t run away. Don’t Sue us, do this video release or, or whatever. And we’ll give you some money. You know, I don’t think she’s doing that for a 62nd clip on TikTok and it’s just, I’m sorry, if she was maybe a, you know, I’m a millionaire with, with millions of followers and backed up by a network maybe, but the chances are, is that most you say, sorry.
0 (16m 16s):
And when it comes to doing the milk pick and things everywhere, she probably runs out of the store. And even if they all are known to come back out here, I don’t, I wouldn’t, I wouldn’t doubt if someone knows her there at the store. Right. And it’s, it’s this disgusting, right? Because you have people like her, you know, blowing up all over social media where the very young, unfortunately, ah, impressionable teens, right. That everything that they feel that, you know, its funny for a second and they can get a, a quick like giggle out of their lives. They share, they, they start following cause do more of these Please these, I was so sad yesterday. And these got me through the day. Not thinking, not critically thinking about what is, who is, you know, who, who, who is she doing these at?
0 (16m 60s):
Whose whose cost at whose expense is she doing these videos? Right. And just so that What someone randomly online that says I was sad yesterday. DJ Mariana, you caught me through the day. Can you please do the other male card? And again, in a different Walmart Or can you please, you know, crash someone’s car, you know, it made my day, you know how pathetic are you? If you are one of those people, I’m sorry. And then you be telling me JT, you’re an asshole. Your people are doing what? Depression. Yeah. Go deal with it somewhere out, somewhere else. Not by, are you telling me that you’re getting joy out of seeing her make someone else’s life miserable? What year? A shitty human being their best. When you think that’s funny, write, if you think that that’s like, you know, do you do the depression, Jerry, there’s something wrong with you.
0 (17m 42s):
If that’s what you think. Right. I, I understand that people have had to have depression and they need, they need a good laugh or they need something to get them of that. But this is not it. This is not right. And it’s a really shitty to see that there are people rising in popularity, you know, are you doing stuff like, this is one step closer. This one step, not this step. This is one step closer to you. Finding a very funny, if a, if we start throwing kittens or doggies are puppies, you know, over the cliff. And it’s like, ah, how you say what Noah was making? Oh, a whole line and be like, Oh, we really do. And that’s extreme. That’s us. Oh, she’s somebody that you know of that you know of. How many people, what did you think she’d put on that she did an upload still made.
0 (18m 27s):
How many at you Noah? Well number for her to get that again, critical thinking of my friends and with that, let’s move on to the last part of this. And that is a Prisoners and TikTok yeah. So according to vice, there is a little clip that I put up at the beginning where you are now you have Prisoners joining in on the trends of TikTok, you know, the dances and stuff like that. Of course, for some of those, we have to replace the audio. But when you get the point, you will have some that will argue and say, JT used to, but you saw that yourself. You put it on that. Some poor dude in prison, his is drinking nasty, you know, brownish yellowish water.
0 (19m 7s):
That’s a good thing. We were, I’ve never seen it. Otherwise it didn’t have TikTok in prison, which let me remind you some of them you can, yes. The car always be the argument at all. I will argue that it’s a majority of them are in prison for a reason. And let me tell you that I’ve spoken to people that have been in prison here in the us and in other countries. And I have been told dude, being in prison in the U S is nothing like being in prison in other countries, right. When it comes to the conditions and when to, when it comes to what can be done to you in prison. Yes. Horrific shit can be ha you know, the, until you are in the us prison system, but it’s, again, it’s always a notch up in other third world countries, right.
0 (19m 49s):
Or even second world countries. So that’s one thing second. Even if we’re only talking about Prisoners here in the U S The are in prison, the vast majority, because they’re not great people write some I’m sure I’m going to be a petty theft. Some I are. And I’m sure because they were innocent. I am sure of that. But the vast majority of them are in because a neighbor, a lot of them say they’re proud of it because they murdered people. They’ve raped people. They, they they’ve done atrocious things. Can some of them be, you know, rehabilitated? Yeah. I would hope that the most of them could, but some of them will not. And I think that the, the, the ones showing up on these cameras, right.
0 (20m 30s):
Are already on these TikTok videos that are really give a shit because their like, what are you gonna do to me? What, you know, putting you in jail, what are you gonna do to me? What gives me more time on their own already in here. LIFE I’m already here at 20 years. That’s pretty much life for some of them. Right. So what can you threaten him with? The vice article said, Oh, some of them are thrown with like no visitation rights. We’re going to put you in the hole. I, for people that like to be in the hole, I’ve heard people that are like, who is on a visit to me, I’m in another state. My only, you know, a few relatives can travel this far. They don’t care. So it kinda bad. So why they were showing their faces on literally these TikTok videos, even if the warden or other are there, other guards we’ll see the videos and they will get to them.
0 (21m 12s):
And then they’ll be like, Hey, you were in a video. So we saw you. I’m going to be like, Oh yeah. So you’re going to go to jail done. Right. So what you see other thing, right? Because I’m going number and easier for you. If you don’t notice a, the third or fourth thing, whatever I’m on a day, you have Prisoners who are already predators. Right. That’s probably why they were in there. What do you think they are targeting? Yeah. What do you think they are going to be interacting and commenting one for some of you guys will be like, no, my kids, not mine. They are now my, you know, my mom, my family now, my mom.
0 (21m 53s):
Okay. Good for you I guess. But for those of you guys that you don’t know if you’re a kid yeah. It does. Or doesn’t have to TikTok or Facebook or Instagram. You don’t know. Or are you one of those like very like accepting parents and you’re laying your care to be on all social media. Even at the 11, 12, 13, 14, 15. What do you think potentially these Prisoners
6 (22m 12s):
Interacting with. Yeah. That’s right. You just talk about your kid. You’re like, Oh shit.
0 (22m 17s):
You don’t know, because I don’t know. I think they are there. I don’t think all of them are using like a prisoner number of whatever. The number is at four there at some of them are just using regular names or some of them that they are predators because they are in jail. Some of them that are going to be using things that they know work. Right. Well, probably worked on the outside for them, like other girl names or Or just very trusting pictures. Yes. Because they’re Our, they are handsome. Or Q if you were talking about female,
6 (22m 49s):
A Prisoners
0 (22m 51s):
People are in prison, right. That they are, they are hands on. They were a good looking write. And you can get away with a lot with a camera phone. Right. It doesn’t have to look like you’re in prison, but you are. So when you tell me now, well, shit, dude, what are we doing? How are these prison prisoners getting phones, you know? And the bias article. And because I did some other research, I saw that there’s many ways. Of course, you have your classic, a contraband, right? Where relatives bring them in. People working at the prison, including guards, bring him in. There’s even been allegedly. I don’t know how many, eight, these 18,000 or something like that. Crazy number of phones that have been contraband ID in here in the United States and one single state, right.
0 (23m 31s):
Where you have even drones dropping him in the yard. Right. People throwing them over. It is this an Prisoners got very creative as he saw on that video. Right. They need too, they’re in prison. They’re with limited resources so that they need to get something in prison. They’re going to get it in. Right. However, they need too. They’re going to pay someone to get in. They’re going to figure it out. And luckily there are, there is this, even though the FCC, hasn’t completely a sanctioned, there is this technology for jamming cell phone, a, a signal, which of course is that it puts the prison, the prison guards in jeopardy, because then, you know, they need to communicate. And if, you know, somehow there’s a jammer Gemzar signal too. Well, you know, they can be in a pretty nasty pickle, but they’re, they are going to Emily implementing that in prisons to jam some of the signal, right.
0 (24m 16s):
To not give them, you know, a wifi. We know which yeah. So then that begs the question, like how the hell that they are paying their cell phone plan. So like, how is that even work? There are so many questions here, but the point is this, now I’ll let you know for those of you guys that didn’t be vigilant of who your child is interacting with on social media. You know, you can really do a lot when it comes to your mom and your dad or your Thea, their adults. And you know, maybe they’re getting harassed, but Hey, they’re adults. But just like what I said about the, the ma the millennial family, the Amelia parents, rather, you, you have to be aware that the, the, the internet is just like the world is just, you know, cyber write and it can be exposed to anything when they’re, when they’re on social media, you just, you won’t know.
0 (25m 2s):
Right. And again, if they come across and you have these Prisoners, if your daughter or your child is one of those kids at likes to jump on trends, Show, There half naked my body on, on, on, on videos for, just for Likes. And then don’t, don’t be surprised, right. If they come across one of these Prisoners, they are like, Ooh, I like it. I, I find you so attractive and, and just, you know, curates them and, and really the brainwashing them into whatever it is at the time that they could ultimately want from people, right. That they are interacting with us on social media. So with that said, I’ll leave you with that. Thanks for watching as always. And yeah.
0 (25m 41s):
