Let’s talk about Seth Rogan’s Twitter attack on Ted Cruz. Also, it appears the Proud Boys are not against Trump, and ANTIFA had a “protest” on inauguration day.

Good morning. Good afternoon or good evening, depending on when you are tuning in. My name is Jonathan Torres Herrera and you are watching or listening to The JTH Show today. Let’s talk about why did Seth Rogen the comedian Attack Ted Cruz broad Boys and not so proud of Trump and where was on T4 on inauguration day, but first roll the into.
All right. Thank you for coming back to watch one of these episodes, we do them just for you. And if you knew here we do these a these episodes. No, we catch up people on current events, news, and, and any anything that’s really going on in the world, including any suggested topics. If you want to leave anything in the comments section, now you can not catch the episode on here on YouTube. You can catch him on Spotify, Apple podcasts, Google podcasts, or radio public. Now we can also do one, one more little thing for us, and that is hitting the light by in, and really, really help us helps us. Right Josh?
1 (1m 12s):
Yes, indeed. It does. So with that in mind, let’s get straight into it. Shall we? Yeah,
0 (1m 16s):
Yeah, let’s do that. So today in the news, we have a first article out here at a Breitbart headline Ted Cruz fires back at co rich angry Hollywood celebrity Seth Rogen after actor says F off you fascists. So yeah. Walk us through that. What is going on?
1 (1m 40s):
Yeah. Famous Seth Rogen by soundbar, to be honest, but anyway, yeah, lets get into this story. So the star Disney’s the lion King Seth Rogen and a bunch of other stoner comedies if you’ve been watching him for the past 20 years or so he’s been hurling unhinged and profane rents at Ted. Cruz calling him a fascist after the Texas Senator called out president Joe Biden for rejoining the Paris climate agreement. So what’s the climate agreement and you ask, well, basically it’s something that the UN has just to try and tackle climate change. So if you don’t remember about four years ago, Trump decided to leave that agreement.
1 (2m 23s):
I I’m not actually sure why he chose to leave that agreement. It was quite controversial at that time. It wasn’t at JC. You were there in the States when that happened.
0 (2m 31s):
My understanding is that it was something along the lines of him not being happy with how much money he w you know, the U S was pouring into the agreement, much like other stuff, you know, he, he also took us away from, or he, you know, doc broke up, you know, he broke up a while, you know, while his time as president. But yeah, that, that’s my understanding at least.
1 (2m 52s):
Right. Yeah. So yeah, that’s basically it, but let’s get straight into the cheese Me or, or the Twitter rant. So Cruz tweeted on Wednesday by rejoining the Paris climate agreement, president Joe Biden indicates he’s more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh. This agreement will do little to affect the climate and will harm the livelihoods of Americans. And that’s what he tweeted. And then Seth, Rogen the comedian, he replied off you fascist. Okay. I mean, I don’t know why he’s going in with the fascist thing that I think it’s kind of like he’s gone in there trying to very populist kind of stunts.
1 (3m 41s):
You know what I mean? It’s like Ted Cruz is a Republican and therefore a fascist. Yeah.
0 (3m 47s):
Yeah. I mean, that’s, I think that’s the, the popular comeback sometimes, you know, to tell someone, like you said that to me, you know, a Republic or a conservative to call them a fascist right now, I, I unfortunately do not know enough of the Paris agreement to be able to say, ah, you know, we shouldn’t have left in the first place or if we should go back in or whatever, right. The, the question, I guess, that I would have for, for, you know, Rogen himself is, well, what do you, what’s your stands on, on the agreement, right? Instead of just tweeting something as, as, I don’t know, as, I don’t know, simple as F off, you know, you, fascia is its like at least give us some context, right.
0 (4m 32s):
Especially to all your audience, you know? Cause he does, by the way, he does have a pretty big audience on many platforms. It’s like, explain why, you know, that’s the thing that a lot of these celebrities or influencers, I always, you know, you know, say the same thing again, which is they Le they love to put these like one-liners with, with zero context as to why they are saying it, you know? So what are you, what a Cruz to spawn? What did he say?
1 (4m 58s):
Oh, Cruz abs actually he kind of mopped the floor with him with that response. He just said charming, civil and educated response Cruz responded. And then he went on, say, if you are a rich, angry Hollywood celebrity, today’s Dems are the party for you. If you’re a blue collar, if you will. Sorry, if you want blue collar, if you are a union member, if you work in the energy or manufacturing industry, not so much. Yeah. So yeah, he, he kind of, he really took the high road on that one and it kind of paid off for him. I mean, I’m no fan of Ted Cruz but he responded in the perfect way. It’s like a, I don’t know, it was a very childish thing for Seth Rogen say, but then Seth Rogen he carried it on and he said, ha ha get EFT, fascist, go encourage a white supremacist insurrection again, you f-ing clown.
1 (5m 56s):
Yeah. What a great comeback.
0 (5m 59s):
Yeah. I mean, listen to anybody, you know, has been watching the show. Wow. You’ll know that I’m not a big supporter of the very, very wealthy celebrities, like sick RO re Seth Rogen excuse me. Are very, very wealthy, you know, very much, very much so. You know, and while they I’m sure maybe some of them had good intentions or, you know, as much as you can say, you know, good intentions are for the vast majority of ’em, what the hell are they talking about? They are not like us, you know, us in terms of middle-class or any anybody really? That’s not, you know, elite rich, right? Even someone that says, Oh, J T what are you talking about?
0 (6m 41s):
I’m not poor. I have to go. And Darlene, ours and the bank 400,000, 500,000. You’re not an elite. You’re not, you know, someone like Seth Rogen, you are a very much like us. And for the, for that matter, anybody, that’s not saying something like that will understand that usually, right. Usually these elite, you know, and, and celebrities and influencers, they do it, or they say, you know, they do what they do and see what they say. ’cause, you know, they think they are all orders, right? People like us, not them. Right. We are going to, to apply to them and say, Oh my God, he’s fighting for the little guy.
0 (7m 21s):
Right. Again, never giving any context. If you look at the exchange here. Yes, it is Twitter. I understand some of you guys will say, come on JT. There’s only so many things you can say on Twitter. So many characters still, if you’re going to pick a fight, right. Maybe, especially at someone like, you know, like Ted Cruz, you know, make sure, you know, you know where to punch. I will say this. Someone like, even like Cardi B, which I don’t, I never thought I would be saying this, at least when she goes on, on, on these, you know, rants, she tries her best. Right. It does. I can tell to really bring forward some facts, right. As to, you know, what her questions are like when she went on the whole rant about like, where are the taxes are going, the money.
0 (8m 3s):
And she, you know, again, she tries to at least do some homework, right. Even though they are still rents right now. And, and again, this is also another celebrity. Why very much up there, you know, a famous rapper, you know, with a lot of money here, you have this celebrity, like Seth, Rogen, in my opinion, really his to be to re-read relevant for today. Does he have a movie coming out? Which is, by the way, a question that asked myself now, I wonder if you guys a movie coming out in the next year, in the next six months even. Right. And that’s why he wants to have his name, you know, circulating among Twitter and all these other platforms. And it’s a shame because while, you know, I don’t know that he has ever done any, any profounding roles.
0 (8m 45s):
I do enjoy the occasional mind-numbing stupidity, you know, of movies that he makes, you know, I, I do, you know, once in a while, I don’t, I don’t mind to just watch something that I’m like, well, am I to get those two hours back? So I don’t totally not, you know, like his, his, you know, his work, but it’s disappointing, you know, that this is, this is what he choose to participate in. So anyways, but whatever, what, what else can we say, write about celebrities fighting, you know, a good fight. Well, yeah,
1 (9m 16s):
Well, yeah, that kind of a up in that bubble and you know, I mean, whether it’s Ellen DeGeneres who said, like, it feels like a prison to be locked up there in the Hollywood Hills, or it’s a Seth Rogen, you know, pretty much doing what is like the political version of, I know you are, but what am I kind of thing? You know, that, that kind of level so low, Ted just basically not backing up anything, just like, Oh, book you moon or something like that, you know, it’s like, yeah, yeah. I like any kind of like respect I did have for the guy or the work that he has done. It’s kinda like it’s just being taken down. Yeah.
0 (9m 48s):
You know, I guess at the same time, if you look at it from this stance, I mean, who could possibly be, you know, Seth Rogan’s fan base, you know, or who does he consider? Right. So maybe those are the perfect comebacks, maybe. Right. I’m picturing in my head for what he thinks his fan base will. We’ll see. As I get it. Yeah. You tell him, it’s a lot of like what they say all the time about Trump, right. When Trump says stupid things, like, you know, especially when he’s having debates and he, you know, has to be stupid. One-liners right. With, with, with other people is debating, you know, like not, you, you are fake exactly like that.
0 (10m 29s):
Everybody. What, what, what do people do? You know, his fan base. Right. You know, you tell him that was so strong. And that’s what I feel in my head, by the way, or I think in my head, rather than that, you know, that they’re saying, cause he knows his fan base. And in this case Seth, Rogen, I would say it’s probably right along the same lines, you know, that that’s his fan base. I don’t think the fan is that an example follow? I don’t know. Someone, you know, is considered a scholar or something would follow Seth Rogen right. So I think it goes hand in hand. So whatever man, you know what, yeah.
1 (11m 3s):
Sorry. It’s not really interesting to write about though, is that they need someone who ha who says stupid stuff. Cause it’s good to write articles. Well, you know yeah,
0 (11m 10s):
Yeah, yeah. Petty. All right, man. So let’s move on to the next one. And for this one headline, New York times a total failure, the Proud Boys now mock Trump duh, this is what I say, you know, what a shit show, let’s be honest. Right? We’ve had, here are the proud boys for some time now. Right? Put Trump as kind of like their savior or, or their, their second coming. I don’t know. But what, what, I guess I can, I can, I feel almost sympathetic for, for them, you know, like damn you guys were out there, you know, really for the guy and now you guys have to come out, you know what, you’re kind of, you’re their tail between your legs, you know, and, and say, you know, he kind of abandoned us.
0 (12m 3s):
You let us down. What do you think was going to happen? I think for the longest time. And I said it in previous shows the guy outside of his, his recent politics and, and his risk, you know, his recent, you know, antics has been known, has been known for many years, decades. In fact, for being a guy that if the cards are low, he pulls out and he either does, you know, at some point of form of bankruptcy, right. Or, or he, you know, he, again, he’s just a guy that doesn’t stick to his guns, especially as he’s losing. So what, what did the Proud Boys expect? But you know, w what did the article actually say?
1 (12m 42s):
So basically it was an article in the New York times, the headline, a total failure, the Proud Boys now mock Trump. I don’t know. Anyway, so members of the far-right group who were among Donald Trump’s, like, like strongest supporters are calling him weak as more of them were Che w as more of them, sorry, we’re charged for storing the capsule, which happened a couple of weeks ago now, after the presidential election last year, the Proud boys, or far-right group declared its unknown, dying loyalty to president Trump’s well, yeah, undying, it’s a wrong and bad poor choice of words.
1 (13m 25s):
Yeah. So yeah. And in, in the November 8th post in a private channel for the messaging app, telegram, the group urged its followers to attend protests against an election that his said that it said, had been fraudulently stolen from Mr. Trump hail emperor. Trump the Proud Boys okay. Yeah. Very, very democratic. Have you heard of fighting for freedom, right?
0 (13m 58s):
Yeah. Yeah. That’s, that’s embarrassing that I would feel embarrassed. Maybe it’s just Me damn Our
1 (14m 7s):
But now that they’ve kind of decided to say like, yeah, w yeah, he’s not one of us anymore. So to hell with that guy in that kinda thing. So ’cause actually, you know, Trump left the white house. So he, he played by the rules for once and, and they didn’t like that
0 (14m 24s):
Say, you know, to be fair, right. Credit we’re in my opinion, at least with credit credit as earned, I know a lot of people are in that mindset of like, I know what we talked about and all that previous Show never to ever give credit to Trump about anything, if anything, again, he should go throw himself off a cliff as to what I feel a lot of people are thinking. And, you know, while that, I think that is, you know, ridiculous. I will say that what many allegedly, you know, these conspiracy, you know, I don’t know, believers. And, and like, even the Proud Boys here as there, you know, the nearest article is saying, Trump kind of let them down for good, you know, and saying, I’m not going to, I’m not going to form some kind of coup to stay in power.
0 (15m 12s):
I’m not going to, I’m going to go with it. Like you said, you know what their rules, and I’m going to leave that you attend, you know, Joe Biden’s inauguration. No, quite frankly, I don’t give a shit. I know it’s like that’s tradition and something like we’ve been, we’ve been, you know, clowning on Melania, right. For not giving a tour to, to Joe Biden, you know? Yes. Tradition is important and they should’ve, but you know what, it’s not the end of the world at this point, the guy is that you guys want me out. Right. Then I’m leaving. And in my head and my good, the fuck, you know, let’s it, you know, good riddance be done with it, you know, did he know he didn’t go to, to the inauguration that it stop it?
0 (15m 53s):
No, Joe Biden didn’t get a tour by Melania. Did she get, you know, she lost in the white house. I highly doubt. So, you know, I, I highly doubt. So if anything, you know, again, people should be happy, you know, that he let his supporters down, you know, part of them being the broad Boys here, who literally went as far as saying, hell emperor, Trump teases, man. Talk about something like North Korea, sit right there.
1 (16m 20s):
Yeah. I know. And you know, then we, we should ever expect anything traditional from, from the old Trump camp. But anyway, as the, as the Proud Boys said, it said, or in the article that said this week Trump will go down as a total failure. The Proud Boys have actually said in the same telegram channel and that happened on Monday. So yeah, that, that really letting him have it. So the Proud Boys anger towards Mr. Trump heightened, after he did not help any of the group who faced legal problems or legal action due to the violence in the capsule, including Proud Boys leader, Joseph bigs, 37 years old, who was arrested in, in Florida with unlawful entry and corruptly obstructing an official proceeding in the riot, at least four other members of the group also face challenges stemming from the Attack.
1 (17m 17s):
0 (17m 18s):
Well, I guess them and the tiger King are bummed out because, you know, Trump didn’t include them in their, what is it? The pardons and the clemency, you know, what did they expect? This is a guy who will probably try pro I say probably because it is not nothing to her in, right. He hasn’t declared necessarily that he will be running in four years. So probably, you know, be running depending on what happens between now and four years from now. So if he were to say, Hey, I’m going to go ahead and pardon people that try to do this insurrection, including, you know, some of these, you know, Proud, Boys, that, that is not going to look good, right.
0 (18m 1s):
When he tries to run again, because if another similar to these similar, umm, you know, a plan is executed again, he can hurt himself by, you know, people are saying, Oh, we’re next time they tried to, you know, storm the Capitol or storm any, any federal building for that matter what we know what’s going to happen. Trump’s gonna just pardon them. So what Trump is watching offer his own ass period. Right. And again, what a bunch of dumb asses seem to believe that Trump would be like, yeah, I’m going to party you and make myself look like everything that I’ve been trying to save for the last two weeks than I am not, which is in support of this, you know, riot or, or insurrection or whatever.
0 (18m 46s):
He, wow. He did try to kind of like, you know, what he always does, which is, you know, Aegon people and say, Hey, do you know how, you know, how dare they say this? And you know, we really should be doing this and thinking like this his way out is always and will always be, I didn’t say to do it. I didn’t say to do it. Right. So him now, you know, not bailing these Proud Boys is, is a way for him to say, see, I wasn’t with it. They did it on their own merit. I never told them the storm, the Capitol. So, you know, he might be, he might be an idiot, but he’s no fool. Exactly. Right. So yeah. I mean, sorry, Proud dudes looks like you guys are going to have to pay for, for your crimes.
0 (19m 31s):
And speaking about crimes, let’s move on to our last story. Yeah. Sorry. That’s that’s going to be you guys in prison all the way is coming out of the Western journal. And that is an article that I found interesting ANTIFA inauguration day rampage leaves, trail of destruction. So the article here adds at the far left extremists, according to this, a news publication, a movement known as ANTIFA rampage through Denver, Seattle and Portland, Oregon on Wednesday after president Joe Biden was sworn in as eight 46 president of the United States, between 40 and 50 so-called anti-fascist protestors gathered at the Colorado state Capitol building and began burning a flag at around 12:45 PM.
0 (20m 22s):
An officer with the Colorado state patrol told Newsweek law enforcement officials were seen monitoring the scene and extinguish the flames. And about 15 minutes later, there is a guest, somebody that tweeted this out, Spencer Wilson said, okay, so things have changed a bit large boobs of anti-fascist protesters rolled up, took a photo and started burning a few flags. Law enforcement came up, extinguished flags. Then the process protestors started fires back up, cops backed off. So this is, this is what I’m going to say about this man, which a really pisses me off to see that even after, I don’t know how many months of so many people saying, Oh, as soon as you know, Trump is out, it’s like white flag.
0 (21m 13s):
We’re all good. It’s all, it’s all going to be gravy at. You’ll see, you’ll see, you know, a lot of these protests are happening in the street, whether it’d be BLM, you know, led or ANTIFA led or whatever other, you know, so, you know, so so-called left this group led, we’ll be, we’ll be done. Everybody will go home. Everybody, everything will be good. We just won. Trump out. Trump in, in, in his cronies, out of, of, of, of Washington he’s out, right Biden in fact, this week, well obviously this week fired somebody that actually refused to, to leave right to, to quit.
0 (21m 53s):
That was a Trump appointee. I’m not sure what I’m, what you know, his name is or whatever his role is, but I just saw it in an hour and a headline. So that tells me that Biden is doing exactly what a lot of groups, you know, voiced their opinion should be done when he, when he, you know, became president, which is too, you know, what did it go to the, call it with the swamp, drain the swamp, you know, drain the swamp and get everybody that Trump appointed out of there and basically anything and everything Trump was, get it out of there and, and make it all good. And rainbows and unicorns. And then literally the day of the inaccurate inauguration, we have this crap, right.
0 (22m 34s):
Which go to show what I have also been saying for, I don’t know how long, which I know some of you guys are probably going to agree with me, which is bullshit, right? Complete BS. That as soon as someone like Biden got elected or at the time he’d been, people were throwing number names around like Bernie, Oh, don’t worry. As soon as any of these guys are elected that, you know, our guys, everything will be peaceful because we no longer have the evil clown in the white house. And then this shit happens, which again, man, it’s, it’s infuriating because I don’t bet leave. As I’ve said before that these are at least these type of demonstrations, which then turned into riots will stop.
0 (23m 17s):
They’re not going to. And if you believe that they are, I don’t know where you’re living. I don’t know what magical land you are living. Honestly, it’s not because I don’t want them to stop. It’s not even because you know, I don’t have no hopes for the American people. No is because people have agendas, you know, and those agendas are very, you know, separated from actual politics. It’s more what I want to happen in my, you know, stay in my Community whatever, right? Whether or not they’d go where they actual political agenda, whether or not they reflect, you know, views of the left or the right, you know, this group that did this.
0 (24m 2s):
Why did, why did they do it to send their message of their agenda? Which clearly has nothing to do, whether we have a Republican president or a, or a democratic president.
1 (24m 16s):
Hmm. Well, yeah, that, that’s the problem working with a two party is a two party state. Right?
0 (24m 23s):
Pretty much. Yeah. Pretty much for the, for the most part.
1 (24m 26s):
Yeah. I guess, yeah. I guess it’s more or less the same in the UK, but it’s a, the two main parties, again, being more conservative or more liberal, you know, being LIBOR, but yeah, there’s just no pleasing. Some people, man, there’s just no pleasing. Some people,
0 (24m 41s):
You know, it’s, it’s, it’s one of those things that, that are, unfortunately again, only a few of us will see past the bullshit. Right? We’ll see. Pass the, the, the, the headlines or the, the simple, crappy tweets, like, you know, the, the Seth Rogan’s of the world will put out in an attempt to, to really blindfold you into thinking, this is only about getting Trump out of the white house. This was in my opinion, never really fully about getting Trump out of the white house. This was in part maybe in part. Sure. I can believe it, but not, not fully, not, not that wasn’t the whole story, right.
0 (25m 23s):
We’re going to continue having, unfortunately, maybe less, by the way, I’ll I’ll I guess I’ll say that maybe a less, but we’re going to continue to seeing these, these, these protests, like I said, that will turn into riots and it’s going to come down to us really realizing, and stopping and thinking the next time to time, a friend or even a coworker or someone tries to incite us into saying, come on, let’s go, you know, we’re going to just totally go and do a demonstration and ask, why are we going? What is it exactly that you are trying to change? Right. Because we got the ugly clown out to the white house. So what is it that we’re trying to do now? Now I will, I will, you know, I guess finish with this just because Biden is in the white house.
0 (26m 9s):
Do I think that everything is fixed? No, I’ve also said about before. Absolutely not. In fact, right before he got, you know, confirm, I said, it’s just in my eyes, just another rich white man. That is a, you know, again, going to take the quote, unquote, most important seat in the world, right. Or position or whatever. No, it’s not going to be fixed because this is not about a single man, right. This is not about a single party fixing anything. This is about really more of us that see true light in the center coming together and not letting the left or the right.
0 (26m 49s):
Right. Kinda like drag us along in what their, what their biases and what their agendas has really seen joining. And I think by the way, people like, like us are growing. And I think over the next few years are going to be the majority, right. Those people that will no longer be influenced by, you know, a or B and, and being forced and bullied into choosing to be a or B you know, at least a year in this state. And I hope it it’s spread worldwide. And we actually sit down and think about things critically and say, hold on, I see the BS. You’re trying to feed me. So these are your ballot points nets, all right. What are your bullet points?
0 (27m 29s):
All right. This is actually where I stand. Right. Instead of, instead of being labeled with, again, with an R or a D or a color red or a blue, you know, again, that’s just what I’ll say with this, you know, is that I think there’s going to be more of us. There are not going to go out and burn flags. ’cause at the end of the day that you said in a couple episodes ago, it doesn’t mean anything. You’re not getting any point across by burning a stupid flag, or when the Brown Boys burned a banner for BLM, you you’re morons right. As this is my point.
1 (27m 59s):
Yeah, absolutely. I mean, you’ve really hit the nail on the head on that one. I think the key to any kind of society is just, like you said, being able to listen to each other and actually learn how to compromise, you know, learning how to compromise with each other. You can’t make everybody happy, but we could at least make everyone at least 50% happy, which is like the best that we could hope for in the end, there’s still going to be bigots. There’s still going to be racist. There’s still going to be leftists. There’s still going to be socialists. There’s going to be all manner of people, which are not going to be fully satisfied. But in the end, that’s that last, that’s what society is. That’s why we have cities. We grouped together human beings are social creatures. And we just had to learn how to live with each other.
1 (28m 41s):
And that’s it.
0 (28m 42s):
That was from my trip. And where that, that is actually, actually, we added that to the last of our stories. Yeah. You guys, I mean, you know, I hate to end some of these shows on, on such a low, you know, energy or, or kinda like, you know, doom kind of mood. I really don’t mean to, but a lot of the times, you know, we feel that we need you to bring you guys some of these stories that you should be hearing, right. And maybe you missed ’cause maybe you guys are watching the next season of the bachelor or whenever the apprentice is going to be back on TV. But you know, if you are watching these shows, obviously we appreciated and we appreciate that you guys take time to listen, you know, to other people’s points of views.
0 (29m 23s):
Right. And it’s healthy. Trust me, you know, I say it all the time. It is healthy to get one out of your own head and to, to listen to people that are maybe not in your immediate group of like individuals, right? Like, you know, a family sometimes and really close friends. It is good. Sometimes I do it all the time, myself. I do the show, but I go on and watch. And Amy main job, countless people that I actually go and watch from all sides of life, all walks of life. Right. ’cause at the end of the day, I think that’s, what’s going to grow this community of people that are Our. I don’t know if I want to give it a name necessarily, but more on the center. You want to say centrists, whatever, but you know, more balanced people, right?
0 (30m 5s):
